Yvonne Cherell is the inaugural CEO of OUCAN and a long-standing advocate for social justice, equity, and public policy reform in Ohio. With over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she brings visionary leadership, deep-rooted community ties, and a proven commitment to empowering families through sustainable solutions. From her beginnings as a Head Start parent to leading state-level initiatives, Yvonne embodies purpose-driven leadership grounded in lived experience and civic engagement.

Sarah is a highly qualified CPA with over 15 years of experience in accounting, audit, and process improvement, gained through roles at a top-10 global public accounting firm and in senior finance positions in the private sector. Known for her leadership and efficiency, she brings expertise in GAAP, GAAS, SOX compliance, and complex standards like ASC606.
