There are three myths about voting I want to debunk for you:
· 1. Your vote doesn’t matter.

· 3. Your vote doesn’t matter.
Keep in mind: You don’t have to agree on everything to agree that voting is both a right and a responsibility that helps ensure our voices are heard. The people who show up have an opportunity to make their voices heard—make sure you are one of them.
Elections decide who’s at the table. When you vote, you make sure your community has a seat. You help determine who will make decisions that affect access to local resources and opportunities. When you vote, you help shape the educational opportunities available to our children and youth. When you vote, you honor the elders and warriors who sacrificed their well-being and fought for the right to vote.
Change starts with whoever shows up to vote. The decisions made without you can still affect you. Don’t waste your chance to have your say.

ARE YOU REGISTERED?
Ohio’s voter registration deadline for the November 3, 2026, General Election is October 5, 2026. Ohio requires voter registration at least 30 days before an election.
If you register or update your information after the deadline, the change will apply to a subsequent election.
WHAT YOU NEED
To register online, you will need:
· Ohio driver license or Ohio identification card number
· Name
· Date of birth
· Address
· Last four digits of your Social Security number
