Pathway Toledo

Pathway Toledo is Lucas County’s designated Community Action Agency, dedicated to reducing poverty by providing comprehensive services that create pathways to self-sufficiency. Established in 1965, Pathway offers a range of programs including employment and career services, family and supportive services, home energy assistance, and support for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. Through these initiatives, Pathway empowers individuals and families to overcome barriers and achieve economic stability.

Serving approximately 20,000 residents annually, SCCAA offers a range of programs designed to empower community members and improve their quality of life. Through initiatives focused on education, energy assistance, workforce development, and health services, SCCAA plays a vital role in fostering stability and growth within the community.

The mission of Miami Valley Community Action Partnership is to work in partnership with local communities to eliminate the causes and conditions of poverty and to promote individual independence and self-sufficiency.

Miami Valley Community Action Partnership is part of a nationwide network of Community Action Agencies begun as part of The War on Poverty and dedicated to continuous improvement and the betterment of local communities.

Step Forward

As the state’s designated anti-poverty agency for Cuyahoga County, Step Forward is tasked and trusted to lead the fight on the ground against poverty in our community. The nonprofit organization helps low-income individuals and families address immediate needs and build long-term skills to transform their lives through early childhood education programs, adult skills training, and other support.
